Tessa – Downpatrick, N. Ireland

I booked a tour with Lizzie because a friend was visiting from Scotland, and I wanted to give her a real taste of N Ireland. We spent the morning in Belfast at St George’s Market, St Anne’s Cathedral and of course, Avoca. We met Lizzie at lunchtime, and she excelled in her knowledge taking us on a tour of central Belfast, including City Hall, the Cathedral quarter, the Titanic quarter, the peace walls, Stormont and the riverside. She was able to provide colourful anecdotes and facts that I had no idea of despite being from here! She never once sounded scripted, but rather knowledgeable and well researched and was able to answer all our random questions. A great tour and one that I have already recommended to other Belfast visitors.
